File Infector Virus

This project simulates a realistic ransomware attack for cybersecurity education and awareness. It includes a Python based desktop application that encrypts files in the user's Documents folder and a phishing style interface disguised as a game installer. After encryption, the app redirects the user to a fake ransom webpage with a countdown timer and payment instructions. The goal is to demonstrate how visual deception and social engineering tactics can lead to real security breaches, while ensuring no actual harm or data loss occurs.
