SecureGPS

SecureGPS is a software-based GPS spoofing detection system that ingests location telemetry over a FastAPI REST interface and applies a four-method detection engine: unrealistic-speed (Haversine), geofence violations, HDOP anomalies, and rapid bearing reversals, to classify events across a five-tier severity model. Each event is cryptographically signed with HMAC-SHA256 for forensic integrity, persisted to SQLite, and surfaced through a real-time SOC-style dashboard with map visualization, alert clustering, and an analyst acknowledgment workflow. Built as an FIU Cybersecurity capstone, it targets fleet, logistics, and ride-share use cases where civilian GPS offers no native signal authentication.
