AI on low cost camera for counting and classification of microbes in nature water
We developed a classification algorithm for live algae samples, directly running on the ESP32-CAM development board. It uses less than 500KB of data and achieves a 60% accuracy in classifying four different types of algae from FIU MMC ponds.
