Enabling Wearable Technology on Patients with High Body Mass Index

This document presents the information necessary to gain a good understanding of the Enabling Wearable Technology on Patients with High Body Mass Index project. The Medical Photonics Laboratory at Florida International University, in a collaboration with PATHS-UP center of the National Science Foundation is currently developing wearable technology for the monitoring and treatment of obesity. The project described in this document aims to satisfy the software requirements for this device to function, as well as allowing researchers to conduct early testing and recordings with ease. The results of this project will be key in calibrating and adapting new wearable technology for the obese population.
